Robert Naiman is Humiliated

Let's finish this Sunday with some good news. So Robert Naiman wrote his article about divesting from Caterpillar because Caterpillar "sells to Israel." One little problem: they don't. A Caterpillar spokesman named Jim Dugan arrived at the Huffington Post to set the Hamas supporter straight:

Well isn't that interesting. Caterpillar does not in fact sell bulldozers to the Israeli military, the US government is a middleman. No doubt this would annoy some people but the fact is that Caterpillar does not "do business" directly with Israel (though they do with the Palestinian Authority dictatorship).

Now how do you think Mr. Naiman reacted to this? Predictably enough, by panicking and getting someone else to make his argument for him:

Right. So even though a Caterpillar spokesman just freaking said that CAT does not "provide" Israel with anything, Naiman digs in his heels and declares no no, they actually do. Ditto with the "weaponization" of the bulldozers. Wow, which of them to believe? It's such a hard decision.

Now for the icing on the cake as Mr. Dugan gets in a couple of shots at our dishonest Huffington Post blogger:

Looks like Robert Naiman's argument...

(puts on sunglasses)

Just got demolished.

  1. Jdugan's response to Naiman is so eerily similar to that Marshall McLuhan scene in Annie Hall:

  2. Naiman deserves to be humiliated, and more.

  3. You can find the same article posted by Naiman at the , where it generally received warm reviews.

Hey guys we've started to employ a slight comment policy. We used to have completely open comments but then people abused it. So our comment policy is such: No obvious trolling or spamming. And be warned: unlike the Huffington Post we actually enforce our comment policy.
